Kent Renewables Energy

Kent Renewables Energy Limited operates a 28 MW biomass renewable heat and power generation plant located in Sandwich, Southeast England. The facility plays a crucial role in the local energy infrastructure, producing approximately 210 GWh of energy annually, which is sufficient to power around 50,000 homes. The operation leverages locally sourced biomass and benefits from the UK's Renewable Obligations Scheme (ROC) until 2037 and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) until 2039, aligning with the principles of the circular economy and supporting the UK’s climate goals and decarbonization targets.
