How we helped

Our Direct Lending team has provided senior debt facilities, as part of a lender-club, to support funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management (“Oaktree”) with their initial investment and provide further capital for strategic acquisitions. LED Group and Oaktree’s partnership has been formed to develop a premier platform for building electrification products and energy transition solutions.

This deal marks an exciting progression of Investec’s commitment to the Irish market, being our fourth deal in the region, our first multi-lender transaction and our largest individual deal commitment to date. The outstanding sustainability credentials and strategic ambitions of LED Group bring further key attractions, which we look forward to supporting over time.

About LED Group

Founded in 1984, LED Group operates through the ROBUS and FuseBox brands. ROBUS provides energy-efficient lighting solutions to electrical contractors through the wholesale channel for a range of applications. FuseBox is a leading UK-based provider of circuit protection devices facilitating energy transition installations and building electrification.
