Investec acted as Joint Sponsor, Joint Bookrunner and Joint Underwriter on Restaurant Group’s £175m fundraise.

The Deal

Restaurant Group raised £175m via a Firm Placing, Placing and Open Offer. The proceeds will improve the Group's liquidity to protect against any Covid-19 resurgence, accelerate its deleveraging target and to capitalise on site expansion opportunities for its Wagamama, Pubs and delivery businesses. The transaction received strong support from existing and new long only investors.
