In this podcast episode, Mark James, Managing Director for Fintech at Investec, is joined by Charlie Morris, founder and Chief Investment Officer of of alternative assets research house, Bytetree.
With 23 years experience in fund management, Charlie is well versed in all traditional asset classes. He is best known, however for his expertise in alternative assets, notably gold and Bitcoin. ByteTree has a BOLD ETF listed in Switzerland (BOLD SW), which combines bitcoin with gold on a risk-weighted basis.
I’ve known Charlie for a while now – we met when I was organising a discussion with a bunch of experts which I optimistically titled “ Demystifying Crypto”. I’m not sure we ever demystified it, but if anyone can, in my opinion it’s Charlie given his background.
