About me

My priority is helping my clients achieve their financial goals by understanding their current position, requirements and financial objectives, in order to create and manage a tailored investment portfolio that suits their present and future needs. I mostly specialise in providing investment advice, building bespoke portfolios with the best blend of different types of investment asset, to deliver achievable returns within the client's tolerance for volatility. I work closely with the client's trusted professionals to ensure there is a joined up strategy for all their financial needs and objectives.

Background/Experience

With over three decades of experience in the wealth management sector I have formed close relationships with all my clients. Before joining Williams de Broe (now Investec) in 2008, I managed investment portfolios at Barclays Wealth. In my early career I managed overseas investments within in-house unit trust funds, and had specific responsibility for the Asian growth fund. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). 

My interests

I am a member and past president of the Rotary Club of North Berwick, an international service organisation which brings together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, and advance goodwill and peace around the world. I particularly enjoy getting involved in the local community projects. I also enjoy playing golf on the North Berwick West Links and I am a member of both the Tantallon Golf Club and the Bass Rock Golf Club.
