About me
I provide bespoke financial advice to clients which ranges from the accumulation of wealth, utilising savings in retirement and wealth preservation across generations. The financial planning process creates an appropriate strategy to achieve client goals by listening closely to their objectives and aspirations. This involves analysing client circumstances in detail to build a holistic understanding before advising on a bespoke financial plan to achieve desired objectives. I advise on a broad range of areas including investment strategies, retirement planning, tax mitigation and inheritance tax planning. I work closely with the various in-house specialist teams to ensure we achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
Background/Experience
I began my career in financial services at Murray Asset Management where I subsequently took on the responsibility of Financial Planning Director. I joined the team at Investec Wealth & Investment (UK) following the acquisition of Murray Asset Management in 2023. Throughout this period I have endeavoured to put clients first to ensure they continue to receive the high level of service they expect. I have a degree in Economics BSc (Hons) from the University of St Andrews and also hold the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the Personal Finance Society.
My interests
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as running, golfing and skiing. I can often be found (when time permits) on the family farm in a tractor!
