About me

I assist clients to achieve their long term financial goals, in the most tax efficient manner. I have over twenty years’ experience of working with private individuals, charities, pension funds, trusts and professional intermediaries.

I believe that our responsibility as advisers is to fully understand our client’s unique circumstances, their ambitions, hopes and fears, to ensure that the investment solutions that we deliver are suitable, and geared to meet their needs.

Background/Experience

I graduated from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, in 1998 with an MA (Honours) in Economics. I went on to attain an MSc in Technical Change and Industrial Strategy from the University of Manchester.

I started my career in 1999, joining Blankstone Sington Limited as a Trainee Investment Manager, advancing through the company to eventually become Chief Executive in 2017. I joined Investec in 2021 and was appointed as head of the Liverpool office in April 2023.

I hold the Securities Institute Diploma and I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments.

My interests

I have a young family who take up most of my time outside of work. When I do get some free time, I enjoy playing golf or watching any sport…if I can get control of the remote control!
