About me

I work closely with two of the senior investment directors in the Birmingham office to support them in the construction and management of bespoke investment portfolios for a range of private individuals, intermediaries, corporates, trusts and charities. Alongside building on relationships with our existing clients, my role includes regularly monitoring portfolios to ensure they remain suitable for each individual’s objectives and developing new investment ideas.

Background/Experience

I joined the team at Investec Wealth as a Trainee Investment Manager in 2022 following roles at a Midlands-based independent financial advisory firm and an investment firm that specialised in collective fund research and discretionary fund management. This has given me a variety of experiences in both client-facing and purely technical roles, and has enabled me to truly understand how investment management sits within a client’s wider financial picture. I have a degree in Mathematics and Management from the University of Nottingham, and I hold the CISI Investment Advice Diploma. I am currently part way through completing the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification.

My interests

I enjoy keeping active and spend much of the summer playing for my local cricket club. I also love travelling to new places whenever I have time to get away from the office.
