Investec Aviation supports Genesis and Barings with strategic financing

Investec Aviation partners with Genesis and Barings to deliver a strategic financing solution for 12 end-of-life aircraft, enhancing growth opportunities.

Investec, a leading international financial services provider, is pleased to announce that its Aviation team has completed a senior debt facility for a Genesis managed, Barings' investment in 12 end-of-life narrow-body aircraft on lease to a diverse range of lessees. This marks Investec’s second transaction with Genesis, following its initial single aircraft senior debt facility provided in 2024.

Investec’s Aviation business partners with its aviation clients to deliver tailored solutions that effectively meet their needs. Over the last 10 years, Investec has originated $10 billion in debt and deployed $1.3 billion in capital. This collaborative ethos, combined with extensive experience and expertise, positions Investec to deliver exceptional value and drive sustainable growth for its clients
