Investec Bank plc US$300 Million Term Loan Facility

Leading international bank and wealth manager Investec Bank plc (“Investec” or the “Borrower” announces the successful closing of a US$300,000,000 Term Loan Facility (the “Facility”) on Wednesday 17 June 2026. Bank of America Europe DAC, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited London Branch, Standard Chartered Bank and SMBC Bank International plc, acted as Coordinators, Bookrunners and Mandated Lead Arrangers for the Facility. Bank of America Europe DAC acted as Documentation Agent and Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft acts as Facility Agent. The proceeds of the loan are to be used for general corporate purposes, including the refinancing of the Borrower’s US$300,000,000 syndicated term loan facility signed on 25th June 2024.

The Facility was launched at US$300,000,000 and achieved oversubscription in excess of three times the launch amount. Despite the high demand, Investec decided to maintain the facility amount at US$300,000,000 and commitments were scaled back. A total of 35 banks committed to the transaction from across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The success of the deal highlights the international syndicated loan market’s continued support for Investec. Investec was able to reduce pricing and build a strong orderbook further demonstrating the appeal of the transaction to lenders.
