Capitalmind Investec, a leading European M&A advisory firm, is pleased to announce the appointments of Sture Stölen and Lars Carlson as Partners, based in Stockholm. These appointments in the Nordic region represent an important part of the firm’s strategy to broaden its European footprint.

Lars and Sture both have over 25 years’ experience in the market. Lars previously held roles at investment banks and M&A boutiques and also Skandia and NCC with a strong focus on M&A and equity capital markets advice. He has also held non-executive and other roles on company boards, predominantly in the TMT industry. Sture has advised corporates across the Nordics and has served on the board of Forex Bank. His capital markets experience includes large IPOs and M&A projects, as well as investor relations work.

The new team will seek growth opportunities in the region, building upon Capitalmind Investec’s reputation as a highly regarded pan-European M&A advisory business. Capitalmind Investec provides bespoke M&A advice to the mid-market spanning corporate, private equity and entrepreneurs to enable them to meet their strategic objectives.

The Investec Group’s global M&A advisory business includes over 300 professionals in Europe, US, Africa and Asia. In 2023, Investec* took a majority position in Capitalmind, which has offices in France, Germany, Benelux, the Nordics and Switzerland, increasing its economic interest to ca.60%.
