Young professionals have grown up in a world that has been characterised by constant change and uncertainty, particularly due to the Covid 19 pandemic. As such, they face increasing psychosocial risks at work owing to concerns about finances, job security, and failing to meet their career goals.
The increasing demands on human capital in an interconnected and hyper-competitive world are largely reflected in the expectations that have been placed on students and young professionals today. In the drive to succeed within this environment, some young professionals are at risk of compromising their mental health and wellness to demonstrate their dedication to the organisations they work for.
