I joined Investec in 2010 and lead the Direct Lending franchise at Investec and is a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee. I have direct responsibilities for the Direct Lending business with responsibilities for sponsor coverage, origination and structuring of private debt solutions for mid-market European corporates and PE clients. The team have a flexible lending mandate that spans underwriting, unitranche and club/bilateral financing solutions and is a market leader across their target markets.

I have over 20 years of investment banking, strategy consulting and leveraged finance experience in Europe. Prior to joining Investec, I was a Director and in the Leveraged Finance team at the Royal Bank of Scotland. I hold a Chemical Engineering degree (Hons) from the University of Auckland (NZ), a Bachelor of Business from Massey University (NZ) and an MBA from Cambridge University (UK).

Luke manages the operations of the investment management platform, developing and implementing processes and systems and enhancing operational efficiencies to support its growth and strategic objectives. Luke has over 25 years’ experience in managing investment management platforms across UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Alicia is responsible for embedding ESG considerations across the private credit investment lifecycle and helps borrowers achieve their desired sustainability goals, drawing from her 20 years’ experience in the financial markets. Alicia has supported over 1,500 professional investors and corporates on the integration of ESG into their strategies within the last four years. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Biological Sciences, she is a CFA charter holder and has also completed the CFA certificates in ESG Investing and Climate Finance.

I joined Investec in 2016 and in 2020 began to help build an alternative investment management business focused on leveraging Investec’s market leading lending capabilities for external institutional investors. As Head of Product, I am responsible for external capital product development and management for the business. Prior to this, I worked as a member of Investec’s Fund Solutions investment team in New York, providing fund financing to private equity, power & infrastructure, secondaries, and real estate investment managers across North America. I hold a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance and Accounting), a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and am a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). I am a One Young World ambassador.

Joining Investec in 2008, Maria has over 16 years’ experience in financial services through a number of roles which include Investor Relations, Private Equity Business Manager and Head of the Financial planning and analysis team. Maria’s most recent role was within the Investec Group Investor Relations team, where Maria spent her time communicating the strategy, performance and Investment opportunity of the Group to various stakeholders, including analysts, shareholders and potential investors.

Prior to that, Maria was the Business Manager for the Private Equity client group, which includes the Fund Solutions and Direct Lending teams. This coupled with Maria’s previous leadership role of heading up the financial planning and analysis team, enables Maria to bring a wealth of knowledge around Investor relations, finance and operations to the team.  Maria commenced the Investment Specialist role within Investec Direct Lending in 2024. In this role, she leverages her Investor Relations and finance experience to create investment and market-orientated collateral. Maria is also responsible for external marketing communications. Prior to Investec, Maria spent a year at Barclays Capital and is a qualified accountant, having completed her studies at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (B. Comm) and the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (Honours).

Over 4 years’ experience in banking and asset management. Jonathan is responsible for management of Investec’s inaugural Private Debt Fund and project management for new launches. Jonathan has worked across Investec since 2019, most recently in their South African property private equity team before joining the alternative investment management business in London in 2021.  Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance and Accounting) and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and is a qualified Charted Accountant.

Joining Investec in 2017, Lois has over 5 years’ experience in credit risk through roles in credit analytics and credit risk decisioning. Since 2019 Lois spent her time in risk as a Credit Officer in the Investec Senior Credit Committee focusing on the corporate specialist lending sectors including Fund finance, Aviation finance and Direct lending.

In September 2022, Lois commenced Investment Specialist role within Investec Direct Lending. In this role, she leverages her credit risk experience to create investment and market-orientated collateral. Lois is also responsible for internal communications between the Fund and Investment teams as well as external marketing communications. Prior to Investec, Lois studied at the University of Hertfordshire where she holds a First-Class Bachelor’s in Mathematics.

Over 6 years’ experience in Data Analytics within Financial Services. Hannah joined Investec in 2019 as a member of the Specialist Bank Analytics team where she was responsible for processing and analysing data to derive business insights for all corporate lending teams. In 2022, Hannah joined the Direct Lending team as a Business Data Analyst and is responsible for reporting and providing analytical expertise to data initiatives within the business. Prior to Investec, Hannah worked in consulting where she supported a range of data-focused client projects.

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Mathematics (Hons) from the University of Leeds.

I joined Investec in 2017 and I am responsible for the analysis and implementation of debt financing opportunities of sponsor-backed and direct to corporate deals. I also provide support across a deal’s life-cycle.

Over 15 years of experience in institutional sales across Europe, Pascal is responsible for fundraising throughout the Benelux and Scandinavia at Investec. Prior to joining Investec in 2025, Pascal served as Head of Northern Europe at Lombard Odier Investment Managers, where he led institutional sales efforts across both liquid and illiquid assets. Before Lombard Odier, Pascal held similar roles at BrightSphere Investment Group where he was head of Northern Europe and prior to that, he managed institutional clients for Benelux at Man Group.  Pascal holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Management from Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands.

I joined Investec in mid-2025 and am responsible for Institutional Investor relationships across the UK, Ireland and Switzerland. My role is to strengthen our existing investor relationships and support capital formation across our various private market offerings.
I have over a decade of private markets experience having worked in both investment and fundraising roles. Prior to joining Investec I was Partner and Head of EMEA for a boutique placement agent covering Private Equity and Private Credit GP fundraises. I hold an Economics and Geography degree (BA Hons) from the University of Nottingham, am an ACA Qualified Chartered Accountant and hold an MSCI membership.
