This is a time like no other. The UK is in lockdown, and facing an inevitable recession. Food and drink as a category is relatively well-placed, at least compared to other industries – but those selling to hospitality rather than direct to consumers face an existential threat.

Demand for food and drink remains resilient for obvious reasons.
