Our role
Investec has refinanced its existing facilities to Grindrod and provided additional funding to support the refurbishment of key logistics and freight assets. This strategic move strengthens Grindrod's market position and enables the pursuit of its growth objectives.
Initially, Investec had provided these facilities to Grindrod for the development of important freight assets. As a long-term banking partner, Investec remains committed to supporting Grindrod's ambitions in this economically significant sector.

Grindrod Limited was founded in 1910 and is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. It provides tailored logistical solutions across the supply chain to various industries, including mining and agriculture. It offers freight services, port and terminal services and cross border transportation services through rail and road infrastructure.
