Investec supports Metier and management in a management buy-out of Master Plastics from Metier Capital Growth Fund II. This will be funded through a combination of debt and equity, with the equity being provided by Investec Principal Investments.

Master Plastics Pty Ltd is made up of two segments:

• The Packaging segment, which specialises in providing flexible packaging solutions for predominantly fresh, prepared, and dry foods, including meat and dairy segments, with a focus on servicing local major retailers and export retailers through their local suppliers.
• The Non-Packaging segment is a leading supplier of knitted synthetic fabrics (nets and ropes) used in the agricultural, decorative, and commercial industries.
