Our role

Investec Bank and Prescient Infrastructure Debt Fund Trust (PIDFT) concluded a guarantee facility agreement for R192.5 million. The purpose of the facility is to provide support of H1 Holdings equity contribution into the Coleskop Wind Power Project.

The fund launched in September 2021 and currently has 1.2bn in assets under management. The fund provides investors with access to generally inaccessible clean energy and infrastructure assets, which offer returns that are uncorrelated in the South African equity and capital markets. Through its investments, the fund facilitates much-needed infrastructure, environmental, and socio-economic impact and development within southern Africa.
