  • About us

    We’re Investec Premium Finance, a trading style of Investec Asset Finance plc. We’re focused on simplifying the complexities of insurance premium finance and helping you to service your clients.

    We’ve designed our product around your needs and to be as seamless as possible.

    Our broker portal, IPF Connect, is easy to use and supported by a dedicated team who are here to help.  

  • What products do you offer?

    Premium Finance for both Commercial Lines (non-recourse) and Personal Lines (recourse).

  • What are your rates?

    Our rates are competitive, based on your estimated finance volume, average premium and potential type of business.

  • What fees do you charge our customers?

    A £30 credit arrangement fee is payable for all commercial business (new business, renewals and additional premiums). This does not apply to mid-term adjustments (MTAs).

  • Do you have a minimum premium or minimum credit charge?

    There’s no minimum premium or minimum credit charge. We’ll accept applications for all amounts (subject to our usual checks).

  • Do we have to commit to finance a specific amount?

    No, there’s no minimum volume required to open a facility with us.

  • Can our customers sign your documents electronically?

    Yes all documents can be signed electronically via DocuSign.

  • Can you provide us with a self-approval limit?

    Unfortunately not. All customers will be credit assessed upon application. However, we aim to provide you with a quick decision and you’ll receive a notification typically within a few hours.

  • Do we have a dedicated contact within Investec Premium Finance?

    Yes, your Broker Manager will look after you and is dedicated to providing great service, backed by our premium finance team who are based in Reading with 130+ staff for support.

  • How long will it take to open a facility with you?

    Upon receipt of your completed Broker Application Form, we’ll aim to conduct our checks and, as long as there are no issues, we’ll provide you with your IPF Connect login details within a week.

  • Do you provide our staff with training?

    We’ve designed IPF Connect to be very simple and easy to use without the need for training. However, your Broker Manager will be happy to assist if you have a requirement for personal or team training.

  • Are there any cover types you won’t finance?

    Typically, we finance annual policies that offer a refund of premium upon cancellation. We’re happy to consider policies outside of this on an ad-hoc basis.

  • How do I start working with you?

    Complete and return our Broker Application Form and one of our Broker Managers will contact you to discuss the next steps.
