Our role

ASL Aviation Holdings is a long-standing client of the bank. We provided a term loan and RCF secured by a portfolio of 10 cargo aircraft and 8 passenger aircraft operating across 8 jurisdictions within the ASL group. The cargo aircraft operate on contracts supporting major cargo integrators and e-commerce providers across Africa, Asia and Europe. The passenger aircraft are operated in with the low-cost airline Flysafair and ASL Airlines France providing scheduled passenger services. The facility refinanced existing facilities with Investec and other lenders, terming these out and upsizing the facilities.

Investec is an active provider of fx hedging solutions from its offices in South Africa and Ireland.
