Investec Aviation Finance powers Federal Airlines fleet expansion as luxury safari travel in SA takes off
Our role
Investec Aviation Finance has restructured and upsized a senior revolving credit facility provided to Federal Airlines in 2023. The revised structure supports the refinancing of a pre-owned Embraer ERJ 145, a 2009 Cessna 208B Grand Caravan and a spare engine.
In addition, the facility includes delivery financing for two new Cessna Caravan 208B aircraft scheduled to join the fleet in 2026.
The transaction enhances Federal’s fleet flexibility and supports its ability to meet sustained international demand for premium air access to South Africa’s most exclusive safari destinations.
