Investec India’s autos and auto ancillary sector covers automotive OEMs as well as component suppliers. On top of comprehensive research coverage, we conduct extensive on-the-ground channel checks to obtain deep insight into the market. Currently, we have detailed coverage on two wheelers and are in the process of rolling out coverage on automotive components followed by four wheelers.

The automotive sector provides a few significant investment opportunities, underpinned by low penetration of four wheelers and two wheelers in India. India’s emergence as an export hub of automobiles, especially two-wheelers, highlights these opportunities.
