How to log in to Investec Online via a web browser

Once you have registered your profile, follow these steps to log in:

  1. Visit the Investec website: You're already on our website, but you can return by typing "" into your internet browser's address bar and pressing Enter.
  2. Access Investec Online: From any Investec UK webpage, including this one, select the login lock icon 🔒 from the top right corner.
  3. Enter your login details: You’ll need to enter your Investec ID and password (if you've forgotten your login details, see the instructions below for how to reset your password) and select the "Login" button. 
  4. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA, if applicable): If you have enabled 2FA on your account, you will be prompted to follow instructions to receive a one-time passcode (OTP) or mobile app message to enter after your ID and password.

⚠️ Fraudulent sites impersonating Investec Online

Fraudsters often try to trick users into sharing banking logins by creating their own webpage or website that looks identical to the Investec Online login page.

To avoid falling prey to this, always login to Investec Online by entering into your browser and once on the homepage, selecting the login lock icon 🔒 in the top right corner.

How to reset your Investec Online password

Assuming you have previously registered for Investec Online, you can reset your password by following the below steps:

  1. Navigate to the Investec Online login page: The link can be found at the top right of any page on, marked with the login lock icon 🔒 from the top right corner. 
  2. Start the password reset process: On the Investec Online login page, select the "Forgot your password?" link under the login button.
  3. Enter your Investec ID: Enter your Investec ID in the relevant field and select the "Next" button. If you don't know or have forgotten your Investec ID, select the "Forgot your Investec ID?" link to find the relevant phone number to reach your local Investec Online support team.

  • What can I do in Investec Online?

  • Why can't I see my Online Savings Account in Investec Online?

    Investec Online allows our Private Banking clients to log in and interact with their accounts with us. If you are a Private Banking client, you can see your Private Bank Savings accounts in Investec Online.

    However, our Online Savings accounts sit on a separate platform so won’t be visible. Clients with an Online Savings account receive separate credentials to log in and view their account at

  • What is an Investec ID?

    An Investec ID is a digital identification number for Investec clients to access and manage their accounts online.

    The Investec ID serves as a single sign-on solution that allows clients to log in to various Investec digital platforms and services using a single set of credentials. With an Investec ID, clients can access Investec Online, the Investec app, and other Investec digital channels seamlessly.

    We do, allowing Investec private banking clients to access and manage their accounts 24/7 on their smartphone, wherever they are in the world.
