Kotak invests to consolidate shareholder shares in OmniaActive

Investec advised Sanjay Mariwala and OmniActive on its INR 2,500 mn fundraise from Kotak Special Situations Fund

Investec India acted as the Exclusive Financial Advisor to Sanjaya Mariwala & his family and OmniActive Health Technologies (“OmniActive”), on its INR 2,500 mn fundraise from Kotak Special Situations Fund (“KSSF”) to help consolidate Sanjaya Mariwala’s stake in OmniActive.

Highly complex transaction completed in parallel to TA’s equity investment in OmniActive, a structured fundraise by the founder at his Holding Company to fund his co-investment with TA in OmniActive and carve out of the B2C business from OmniActive.
