Meet the team

Ajeeth heads up Investec India and has been responsible for setting up the Investec India franchise. He has 24 years of banking experience spread across the UK and India. Ajeeth has an undergraduate degree in Engineering from IIT Kanpur, and a diploma in Management from IIM, Calcutta.

Mukul heads Institutional Equities at Investec India. Mukul joined Investec from Espirito Santo. Prior to this, he was Associate Director at Kotak Securities. Earlier in his career, he was an Equity Research Analyst in New York - part of a two-member top-ranked IT Services team at Sanford Bernstein, and Senior Analyst covering Building Products at CIBC World Markets. Mukul worked as a management consultant in the United States advising financial companies on automating business processes. He holds a BE from BIT, Mesra. He has an MBA from IIM – Calcutta as well as from Columbia Business School, New York.

Mufaddal has over 21 years of Investment Banking experience and is responsible for sponsor coverage. Prior to joining Investec, Mufaddal was part of the founding team at Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors. He was also a director at Rabo India Securities and has also worked for GE Capital, IL&FS and Exim Bank.

Neil has over 25 years experience in the Financial Servies Industry covering Risk, Control , Operations and Finance. Prior to joining Investec Neil was Managing Director &  Chief Operating officer for UBS India covering Investment Banking, Markets and Wealth Management where he spent close to 13 years. He was also a Director in Bank of America for 10 years plus in multiple Risk and Control roles for Global Market Operations and Product Control. Neil is a Chartered Accountant from India.

Piyush has over 25 years experience in Indian Credit & Fixed Income markets. He was previously MD & Head of Fixed Income at JP Morgan and MD & Co-Head of Global Markets at Deutsche Bank India.

Rambhushan joined Investec in December 2015 to spearhead the Corporate Finance and Equity Capital Market division. Previously, he was Head of India M&A at Barclays. Earlier in his career, he was an Executive Director at JM Morgan Stanley and JM Financial. Rambhushan holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering from University of Nagpur and a Masters of Management Studies from Mumbai University.

Vikram joined Investec in July 2019 to Co-Head Corporate Finance & Equity Capital Markets division. Previously, he was a Director at Lazard India where he spent over 13 years providing advice to clients around the world on complex transactions across various sectors in India. Overall, he has consummated close to 60 deals in multiple sectors across M&A and equity capital raising transactions. Previous to Investec, Vikram has also worked with HDFC Asset Management and Deloitte. Vikram is a Chartered Accountant from India and a Chartered Management Accountant from the UK.
